This December, our service project involved writing letters to seniors who could not visit their families for the holidays. In this service project, I spent my December afternoons writing a dozen letters. I started writing two letters during the first week of the service project and wrote a few more letters to my heart's content. In a few of my letters, I added a poem by Morgan Harper Nichols to enlighten the recipients. In other letters, I wrote a few holiday blessings and wished them a happy new year!

In this service project, we all chose who we wanted to bring christmas spirit to! Once we got the names, we wrote heartfelt letters to the person/people we got. We as well had the option to make fun origami that would partake with the holiday spirit that we hoped we could spread to people who needed it most. I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely do it again next holiday season
