For October, our club is doing a service spotlight, to highlight the work of one of our members. Earlier this month our division hosted the Family House of Pancakes mural project. The Family House of Pancakes has hosted all of our in-person DCMs for the past few years, so D11 got together to create pieces of art as a thank you for their hosting of our members. Members spent their time painting unique pieces of art for our division to gift to the restaurant.

MDCHS would like to thank Sophia Nguyen for her participation in this event! Sophia is the Executive Assistant to our Lieutenant Governor, and is also a member of the District Technology Team. She spent several hours crafting a beautiful tile for the project, and came up with a clever idea to paint a pancake stack with Pompompurin characters.  “I’m happy to say thank you to the Family House of Pancakes for all that they do for our division!”, said Sophia when asked about her tile. Thank you to the division for producing this wonderful service project!
