For the month of November, I decided to plan a Color A Smile service event for the holiday season. Color A Smile is an organization that collects pages from volunteers to show to senior citizens and to put a smile on anyone’s face. During the Thanksgiving break, I asked members to create artwork or coloring pages for the holidays as a way to gather family and obtain service hours from the comforts of their own homes. I started off by choosing which coloring pages I wanted to do and I asked my sister if she would like to draw as well. We ended up creating five pieces of artwork for the holiday season. I love how they all turned out and it was really fun to just play music and color! I hope our art pieces will put a smile on someone’s face!
