The “Cards for Hospitalized Kids” service event allowed members to create seasonal and/or positive cards filled with uplifting messages for the holiday season. These cards would then be mailed to the organization which would then distribute cards to hospitals across the nation. For this service event, I focused on creating holiday themed cards for the Christmas spirit! I used all types of lettering and colors to make these cards look fun and festive and included details such as penguins, snowflakes, mistletoes, ornaments, and presents. I then wrote a short message on the inside describing why I love the holiday season and wishing these kids a happy holiday! This event was very easy, yet so fun to participate in and I definitely got into the Christmas spirit!
